Each frame is meticulously handcrafted in our West London studio. Our skilled artisans precision-cut and join the components using techniques suited to the chosen profile and material. This may involve specialist joinery, pinning, gluing, or underpinning to ensure both durability and aesthetic integrity.

To achieve a flawless finish, every frame is carefully hand-sanded before receiving its final treatment. Depending on your preference, this could be multiple layers of primer and spray lacquer for a sleek gallery-white finish or a hand-waxed and polished treatment that enhances the natural beauty of the wood.

We use reversible conservation techniques and archival materials to preserve the longevity of your artwork. Whether you've chosen a window mat, a raised float mount, or a completely bespoke mounting solution, every detail is handled with precision and care.

For works on paper, we employ fine Japanese hinging paper and rice glue, ensuring a delicate, non-invasive approach that protects your artwork.

Glass or acrylic is precision-cut, fitted, and meticulously cleaned before assembly. If fillets are part of your design, they are carefully installed alongside the mounted artwork and backing board.

To enhance stability and ensure a seamless display, we may incorporate a sub-frame, allowing your piece to sit flush against the wall. Depending on your requirements, D-rings, Square Hangers, Split Batten and hanging wire can be added for ready to hang installation.
